We are not "a" church specifically as it relates to a religious denomination. However, we are "the" church as Jesus established it in the new testament 1 Corinthians. 12.12-27.
As Children of God, we have "The Church" in us by the Holy Spirit Ephesians 3.16-21.
If we can agree on these fundamental beliefs, we can fellowship together.
* There is one God Jehovah 1 Timothy 2.5a
* Jesus is His son and is the only way to get to God. 1 Timothy 2.5b.
* Jesus died on the cross for our sins. John 3.16
* Jesus asked the father to send the Holy Spirit to leave with us when He ascended into heaven. John 14.16
* The Word of God is the Holy inspired revelation incarnate in Jesus. To teach us the Way. John 1.1-2, 2 Timothy 3.16
Reading God's word in the public forum was the common practice Exodus 24. According to 1 Timothy 4.13, we urge you to keep up with that practice. Several times a year, we can gather the children of God as one body. We will avoid proclaiming any specific church denomination and doctrinal beliefs that will cause division, as long as it does not violate the standard of beliefs from scripture that we have already established. Instead: We have no intention of replacing the local churches that gather weekly for fellowship, ministry, and encouragement. For that is fulfilling an important service to God's body. Hebrews 10.25
